Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Executive Board of the SPE Balkan SKI Conference, it is our great pleasure to 
invite your institution to participate in the 6th SPE Balkan Ski Conference {SPE BSC), which will 
be held from 8 to 12 March 2026 at the renowned Alpine Ski World Cup venue in Kranjska Gora, 
Slovenia. The SPE BSC is an international scientific and professional event held every two years, 
which brings together leading experts in the field of Snowsports.  This year's edition  will 
welcome  representatives of Snowsports instructor associations and demo teams, coaches and 
instructors including some of the world's most accomplished skiers. The program features lectures, 
workshops, networking opportunities, and the highlight of the year - the Demo Show, as preparations 
ahead of the world's largest gathering of ski enthusiasts: lnterski Vail 2027.

In parallel with the main conference programme, we have agreed to hast a special symposium 
dedicated to Snowsport education. This symposium builds on the very positive experience and 
excellent feedback from the first event of this kind, organized by National Sports Academy Vassil 
Levski held in Vitosha, Bulgaria. Following the strong positive responses to this inaugural event, 
the initiative will continue under the academic umbrella titled EASE - Empowering Academic 
Snowsport Education Symposium. We are pleased to invite you as active contributors. The symposium 
is envisioned as a meeting point for leading academic institutions and educators in Snowsport 
higher education together with student representatives. lt will provide a platform for the exchange 
of best practices, while actively engaging students as an integral part of the programme. We would 
be glad if you could share this information with other colleagues in the field of Snowsports.

The entire congress, including the parallel symposium, is held under the patronage of IAESS 
International Association for Education in Snowsports, whose board members are also directly 
involved in the planning and delivery of the programme. Further information about the SPE Balkan 
SKI Conference and EASE Symposium, including details of the 2026 edition and previous conferences,

also be able to select the option to participate in the symposium during registration. Should you
